What's New in LAN SUITE 2003

Still running LAN SUITE 2002? See what you are missing by not upgrading to LAN SUITE 2003. Here is a list of all changes in detail:

bulletBuilt-in packet filter firewall provides effective protection from unauthorized access to your LAN SUITE computer as well as for your internal computer network. (Windows 2000/XP/2003 required).
bulletLogging now includes log files from the Firewall. Dropped packets, beginning and ending connections or all packets can be log for network debugging purposes.
bulletSeparate IP Filters are now configurable for the Proxy, SMTP, Remote Administration/FTP and WWW Servers to provide complete access control for each service independently.
bulletIntegrated BitDefender Antivirus Engine scans all incoming messages for malicious viruses and worms at the server before they reach the user's mailbox. BitDefender is ICSA Labs certified (602Pro LAN SUITE Anti-virus Edition is required for this feature).
bulletAutomatic Anti-virus database update keeps your virus protection up-to-date without administrator intervention (602Pro LAN SUITE Anti-virus Edition is required for this feature).
bulletCustomizable virus free certification signature for all scanned e-mail is available (602Pro LAN SUITE Anti-virus Edition is required for this feature).
bulletRequest Messages from ISP's SMTP Server now supports ETRN and ATRN SMTP commands for message download from your ISP.
bulletAdded German spelling to the Web Mail client.
bulletThe web server tab was divided into three configuration tabs - FastCGI Applications (for FastCGI application configuration), Mapped Applications (for web application, e.g. php.exe, configuration) and Aliases (for assigning aliases to the web server).
bulletSupport for Windows 2003 Server is available (including SendFax client).
bulletThe user interface (from the console and Remote Administration) was redesign to provide intuitive access to all features.
bulletSite Access rules now apply to both HTTP and HTTPS (secure) sites.
